We’ve taken design and material inspiration from our Outback Bio phone series and put them into a super protective iPad case. Featuring updated materials comprised of bioplastic that is biodegradable and compostable. Along with tough and protective details like corner protection, raised screen surround, and folio cover. All together packaged in 100% recyclable packaging made with soy-based inks, with minimal use of non-toxic adhesives & zero plastic. The result is a biodegradable and compostable case that looks cool without sacrificing drop protection and, as always, is built to go further.

  • Auto wake/sleep folio cover (made of recycled vegan leather + recycled fiberboard) that doubles as an adjustable stand. Include notched points for kickstand stand view. Built-in Apple Pencil holder. Compatible with Apple Pencil Pairing and Charging.
  • Oversized tactile buttons and easy access to buttons and ports. Soft-raised screen surrounds bezel to protect screen and lens. Enhanced corner protection to shield against drops and bumps.
  • Back of Case is Biodegradable & Compostable thanks to the use of a bio-based plastic that is both biodegradable and compostable per ASTM U.S. D6400-04 and E.U. EN13432 composting guidelines.

Coque solide, avec un emplacement

Coque solide, avec un emplacement pratique pour le stylet, mais le système d’appui pour la poser est assez instable, dommage qu’il n’y ait pas d’aimant pour le maintenir en position. Le revêtement extérieur de la coque marque très vite, même à la moindre trace de doigt.

case is stubborn and hard but the colour is getting faded in few day usage.

Already biodegrading right out of the box

The case showed signs of disintegrating when it arrived. A replacement was sent but it too had the same problem. I'm convinced it has to do with the biodegradable nature of the model. I requested for a replacement of a different model, and paid the price difference. Still waiting for it to arrive, but in future I'll avoid buying anymore biodegradable items.
