JAMIE ANDERSON  "EVERYTHING IN BALANCE"

Born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, Jamie is the 5th of 8 children. Snowboarding for the first time at ten years of age, she immediately fell in love with the sport. Being homeschooled allowed her to spend almost every day on the slopes further developing her skills.

Jamie has built a reputation as one of the top slopestyle riders in the world, taking home the gold medal in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. She earned a spot on the US Olympic Team and is headed to the 2018 games in PyeongChang, South Korea.

Despite a busy schedule and unique lifestyle, Jamie works hard to keep everything in balance, and never forgets to give thanks to the world for what she’s become. “Every day, I wake up, give a little gratitude, and bow down to the earth. It’s very important for me to stay grounded and give thanks to everything this world has given me.”

Yoga helps her find peace amid chaos and reminds her of the importance of learning along the way. With so many friends all over the world she strives to keep learning from her experiences, so she can teach others and be a positive role model.

“I have a blast spreading love and inspiring other along the way…and the better I feel on the inside, the more I’ll radiate that positive energy to others around me, helping others feel and perform their best.”
